If you're reading this, you've committed (on some level) to living a life where you are more fulfilled, content and satisfied in your day-to-day experiences.
As a result, you're making some strides to course correct: raising capital for your dream business, starting an online dating profile, ending or healing an ailing relationship, going back to school, exercising more, researching a change in residence, or connecting to your intuition through meditation.
Every action you take toward your goal is progress. Even if you can't see results, it is still progress.
Sometimes the transition from where you are to where you want to be can be very slow. While I believe everything is working out in divine perfect timing, it can be difficult to stay positive, inspired, motivated and excited when results are slow coming.
One of the ways you can stay on the positive side of life when you're in transition and ultimately move more gracefully through the process of change, is to focus your attention on the victory of reaching your end goal.
A wonderful manifestation exercise I recently learned is to write your success story.
Imagine you've reached your goal and you are feeling incredibly good about your accomplishment. Someone has just asked you how you were able to do all of what you did. Take time to share your success story.
Write your story to a particular person or imagine it is being featured in a professional magazine or blog, online review or testimonial or even a community newspaper.
What does success look like for you? What led you to making the changes you made to get you to where you are now? What steps did you take? Who or what helped you along the way? How does success feel? What shift occurred in your mind-body-Spirit to foster your success? What challenges did you overcome? Who helped you along the way? Be sure to speak your truth as you write your success story.
Truth is the fertile soil needed for inspiration to grow.
In doing this process, a dynamic shift in energy will occur in your life and a renewed inspiration will emerge. Even when life seems to be moving at a snail's pace, you will know, deep in your soul, that a positive change is coming.
If done wholeheartedly, in writing your success story, you will become your own source of power.
