Money, money, money! I have found in my readings that the only question that comes up more than finding romantic love is the question of money. When will I be making more money? Will I get a better job? Will there be an improvement in my financial life?
I believe many people come to psychics or intuitives with questions about money because we have been conditioned to believe that our money issues are the result of circumstances outside of ourselves. Yes, it is true that we are unable to physically create a bill of currency. However, we can spiritually and mentally create a life that is filled with an abundance of money.
In my readings, I help people make the shift in their thought process, so that they can welcome in the abundance that they seek by putting them in the driver’s seat of all that is financially possible in their lives. This blog article will help you self-coach yourself to financial
well-being.
In my adult life, I have always wanted to live alone- to be experience the joy of being the queen of my castle. However, I continued to live with roommates because I didn’t believe I could afford to live alone. As a result, I grew into a routine of moving every couple of years in search of the
perfect roommate, the perfect neighborhood and the perfect living situation.
Each new place was fine at first, but eventually I would grow restless and from this restlessness emerged a host of uncomfortable circumstances- money issues, conflict with my roommates, and ill health. I now know that this restlessness was my soul’s way of beckoning me to get my own
place. Each time, I would ignore it. After all, I had convinced myself that I couldn’t afford to live alone.
Then a year ago, I was finally fed up. Through self-coaching, I uncovered my deep-rooted belief that I was not “good enough”to have what I wanted. There it was. It was never about the money. I was continuing to live in uncomfortable situations because I did not believe that I was good enough to have a home of my own. Once I decided to shift that belief, I was able to
manifest a wonderful apartment of my own.
We all have the ability to live in financial well-being because we can control our thoughts. It is our beliefs that dictate our relationship with money. Below is a basic self-coaching exercise to help you live in financial well-being. (This exercise is to help you get to the root of your financial
woes. It can be done in one sitting, but I recommend you give yourself 2-3 hours
of undisturbed time to complete the exercise.)
In a notebook or journal (with pages that you can be easily be removed), answer the following questions:
In your mind, ask yourself the question and then write down whatever comes up. Please do not
sensor yourself in any way. These pages are for your eyes only. Do not reread your answers until you’ve completed the entire exercise.
1. Uncovering Beliefs
What is your biggest concern about money?
What scares you about money?
What was your family’s belief about money?
What money habits do you have that are similar to your family’s money habits?
Are those money habits right for your life?
When are you most afraid about money?
Are you willing to shift those habits?
2. Sorting Through the Mental Clutter
What emotions do you feel when you think about your wealth?
If your current finances were an actual location what would it look
like?
Is there a money related issue that needs to be resolved in your life? Describe the
feelings that are keeping you from taking action. Is it an absolute requirement
of you progressing in your journey? Is this an issue you are willing and able to
surrender to Spirit?
Is there someone or something you need to forgive? (Maybe you need to forgive your
parents or student loans, bank, credit cards, previous or current employer.)
Do you need to forgive yourself for financial mistakes of the
past?
Is there something around money you need to release? If so, on separate piece of
paper complete the exercise below:
Releasing Exercise
I release _________ to God, Spirit, Angels, Ascended Masters and my Guides. I ask that ______ be carried to heaven and the negative energy be released from my body and mind. I am now free.
3. Accepting Financial Well-Being
How do you want to feel about your money? Describe that feeling in detail.
If you could create a financial place of safety that matched the way you want to
feel what would it look like? Describe it in detail.
Write a personal financial well-being statement for your life right
now.
Lastly, make a list of everything you appreciate in your life.
Once you’ve completed above exercise, read your answers as many times as you need to
do so and then burn the pages. (I suggest burning the pages in a fireplace or
bbq grill. Please be safe.)
After burning the pages, go into prayer or meditation. Ask Spirit to give you five
action steps to take to create financial well-being in your life.
Be courageous! Take action and be open to all possibilities. Give thanks
accordingly. Know that all is unfolding for your greater
good.
With love,
Amy
