The musical, American Idiot is here in the Bay Area until July 8th. It has been my dream to see it. As I shuffle through my budget for July, I am struggling to find the additional 100 plus dollars that I need to purchase a ticket. That is not including San Francisco parking and bridge toll. Apart of me wants to resolve that seeing American Idiot is not in the financial cards for me, but I'm not entirely ready to give up my dream. I deserve to see this musical, but some part of me still believes that doing so is too extravagant. Where did this belief come from? How can I change my relationship with money so that I can not only meet all my needs, but my dreams as well?
This week's blog entry will help you shift some of your money beliefs so that you can live a more rich and fulfilled life.
Changing your relationship with money can be challenging. After all, money is a very important part of our human experience. Over the course of your life you have probably picked up a series of untruths that have caused you to believe that it is difficult to have money or that there is never enough money. However, I want you to consider the idea that money is unlimited.
As a spiritual being, you were born with the an infinite source of Divine abundance. You are of God. You are apart of God. God is infinite. God is money. God is infinite abundance. Therefore, you are infinite of abundance. All it takes to transform your relationship with money is a shift in perspective. Your current circumstances are just a reflection of how you've decided in this moment to experience life. You can transform the quality of your relationship with money by deciding to experience a different reality.
Today, I want to encourage you to see money not as an enemy or adversary, but as your best friend or soul mate. It starts with you. Don't wait for money to change, but instead, decide to experience life from a place of abundance, ease, joy, peace, harmony and merriment. Even a small shift in perspective can create the change in your life you've been seeking.
Here are some affirmations from my Prosperity Circle tele-meeting to help you shift your perspective:
