People often call into my radio programs to ask if I see love in their future. As I tune in, my Guides frequently give me messages about the person’s bank account, job status, cluttered living space, transportation issues, unopened bills and lack of well-being. I then ask them if
their foundationis in order.
I use the word foundation to describe the fundamentals of life:
Income Source
Career
Personal Finances (Bank Account/Credit/Bills/Savings)
Shelter (Personal living space)
Physical, Mental and Emotional Well-being
Transportation
Personal Interests (Passions/Hobbies)
Preparing for a real, lasting love requires that you have a strong platform from which you can build a successful romantic partnership. If you’re struggling to keep your life together, now is probably not the time to start a relationship. This is because you will not have the physical, mental and emotional energy to devote to another person. No, your circumstances do not have to be perfect, but having some sense of order in your life will dramatically increase your love success rate.
Having a strong foundation will also increase your self-confidence. The number one quality people are attracted to in others is self-confidence. Remember, like attracts like. If you want to be in romantic partnership with a person who has their act together, then you have to
take responsibility for your life as well. As I’ve said before, your partner will not save you. Lasting romantic relationships are two equal halves coming together to create a whole. It is my belief that we must be whole within ourselves before we will be able to create lasting, loving, healthy partnership with another.
Tomorrow, I will post some exercises to help you determine if your foundation is ready for love and if not, how to get things in order quickly.
With love,
