Here is another Mercury Retrograde remake from my Intuitive Coaching greatest hits originally sent in April 2014:
1. Make note of all that is working well in your life.
When you are so ready for positive change to occur in your life that you can taste it, it is really easy to get down on your situation when things aren't going exactly as planned. Really, really easy. While I think it is wonderfully healing to acknowledge what isn't working in your life, I think it is equally as important to identify all of your blessings, successes, strengths and good fortune that have already occurred.
When you notice all that is working in your life, it makes your desires seem more plausible, because you recognize that you have already done the work necessary to create/manifest a particular desire in past. Staying the course becomes easier.
2. Speaking of easier- Take the easiest next step.
I tend to attract folks who are on-fire and passionate (like me!). They want to take on the world. They want to get it done. They are hot. They are ready. They are confident. They end their session pumped up and excited.
However, within 3 days or so, I get an email or a call from them saying: "Amy, what happened. I feel so low. I'm not progressing as fast as I hoped. I'm confused. Am I making the right choice?"
At which point I have to remind them that BIG magical change does not occur in an instant. BIG change must be broken down into smaller, equally as exciting, but easy steps.
Taking the easiest next step keeps you on track to achieving your desired outcome- it also keeps you sane. The high in the beginning is fabulous, but you can't live in the space. Even as you desire to change your reality, life has to be lived one day, one minute, one feeling, one impulse at a time. It will require making hard decisions, resilience and maintaining a state of grace even when timing doesn't seem to be on your side.
3. Stay in YOUR business.
So often on your road to positive transformation, your ego self decides that it's too boring, too difficult or too uncomfortable. That's when you start nosing around in everyone else's business.
It comes in many forms: What do they think of me? No one understand me. Will anyone accept me? So and so needs to change and grow. I need to help them change. Did my ex ever really love me? My parents weren't there for me. Everyone around me is just chilling- I feel like I have to do all the work (my ego's fav).
Ummm, NO! Stay in your business. Stay on your journey. Most importantly, utilize your energy in a way that keeps you pointed to what you really want.
You may think you're helping from your newly enlightened place, but in turn you're just distracting yourself from dealing with your stuff.
Getting your life, mind, body, Spirit, heart and soul in order requires guts, courage, strength and FOCUS. Change can only occur in your life when you are loving, accepting and taking care of yourself.
(I could go on forever about this point, but you know if you've had a session with me, I will always bring your attention back to YOU because that is where the answers are- always.)
Enjoy your week,
Amy
