This blog entry is the first in a series of messages about love and relationships.
In numerology, February is a 2 month. The energy of the 2 calls us to connect with our emotional, loving side. If you want to be in a relationship, this is a wonderful month to attract love. (I met my partner in February 2009.)
Unfortunately, we’re not taught how to do love, so we often experience immense suffering in our quest for happily-ever-after. I spent most of my adult life chasing love. After years of stumbling through what I thought to be true about relationships, I finally figured it out. I now know that with a lot of faith, maturity and action, anyone can be in a wonderful, lasting relationship.
It is my belief that to welcome love in your life:
You must have faith that love is on its way and you are worthy and deserving of it.
You must adopt a mature perspective of what it means to be in a relationship. Know that
your partner will not save you from yourself, but instead your relationship will inspire you to make choices that honor your inner Spirit.
You must take proactive action to attract the love you seek. These action steps will be both
internal (mentally, spiritually) and external (physical). You may pray every night for love, but you are also responsible for deliberately putting yourself in a position to connect with someone who is also actively seeking a relationship.
I would love to hear your feedback on these posts. Please feel free to comment and share your experiences.
With joy,
Amy
